I want to capture something that lasts.

Some moments only happen once. The way the light hit the street on your first trip together. The nervous laugh right before the vows. The version of you that exists right now, in this season, in this place.

I photograph those moments the way you'll want to remember them: honest, unposed, a little cinematic.

Less posing, more unfolding.

I want to freeze a moment in time.

Preserving a precious memory for someone to relive every time they look at it.

I don't just photograph travel.
I live it.

Think travel agent meets photographer.

15+ countries explored · 3 cities called home · 12+ years since I first picked up a camera  · 8+ years planning complex events for a living

Photography isn't my only craft. I plan events professionally, and have for nearly a decade. Timelines, logistics, backup plans, getting a hundred moving pieces to the right place at the right time. That's not a skill I picked up for photoshoots. It's my actual profession. And when I'm not planning, I'm moving. I solo travel almost full time; sitting still has never really been my thing.

Which means when you book a session or an elopement in a city you've never been to, you're not just hiring a photographer. You're hiring the person who already thought about the light at 7am, the permit you didn't know you needed, and the cafe you'll want to warm up in after.

Couples & Engagement Sessions

The places that already matter.

Your neighborhood, your favorite coffee shop, the apartment that became home, or the season of life you're in right now.

Honest, cinematic photographs of your relationship as it exists today.

Destination & Travel
Sessions

For the stories unfolding somewhere else.

A city you've always wanted to visit, a trip you've been planning for months, or a place you'll never see quite the same way again.

Photographs that let you be part of the adventure, not just remember it.

Elopements & Intimate Weddings

A wedding day built around the two of you.

A courthouse morning, a cliffside in the rain, or a dinner table with the people who matter most.

Somewhere that matters, documented as it unfolds.

Let 's Create Something for the Archives

Meagan Horne, elopement and travel photographer

I’ve always cared about photographs.

My first camera was a Barbie Polaroid when I was five, and I never really stopped.

I hoard images — my own and everyone else’s. Looking at photos of my childhood or my grandparents, I don’t always remember the exact moment, but something still feels familiar. There’s a connection in them. Proof that a time, a place, and the people inside it existed and mattered.

That’s what photography became for me:
a way to hold onto what won’t happen again.

I have a strange awareness of time passing.
Photos quiet that feeling. They let you return.

Sweet Words

"Meagan has been amazing to work with over the years!"
Ultra flexible and always professional, she has an easy-going way of capturing our family beautifully. She is awesome with kids/teens as well as those who are camera shy. The work is presented in a simple-to-navigate and downloadable website format. Highly recommend Meagan for headshots, family photos, and candids.. she does it all!
